![]() ![]() Don’t worry about the drive… its about the journey ). It’s tucked away back In the center of Phoenix but closer to the airport with a shuttle and a shuttle driver to take you tkt the airport (upon requests) if you need it. This was one fancy hotel and Sandre was truly a happy camper. While I normally love Courtyards, I FOR SURE will never be back to this one!… My room was supposedly “done” but the sink was cracked, the shower paneling already peeling off, the window seals didn’t shut so wind and dust from the storm blew in for several hours. They were kind enough to give me another, that smelled so awful too - mostly from all the super cheap new rugs and furniture! They are seriously putting lipstick on a pig with this reno. You can’t even get to your room from the inside and have to lug all your stuff across the courtyard - which was not fun during a major dust storm!! The first room I was put in smelled straight up like a chain smoker had been in it! The staff said it’s probably because the crew renovating stays on the first floor (lives there during reno) and parties at night. While the staff were delightful, the hotel is a nightmare! They are under renovation so the entire lobby and bistro are bare and not really functioning. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in a long time! (Note - I’m a frequent traveler for work and a Gold Marriott member so I typically love this brand and their hotels!). Beware that this hotel will steal money from you and become completely non-responsive. I still have NO idea why they charged my card $150, never received a receipt, never received a call back. ![]() A manager would be in within a few minutes and would call me right back. I tried multiple times over the next week, and get the exact same story from the person who answered the phone. Robin answered the phone and promised a manager was walking in the door momentarily and would call me back within a couple hours or at the latest the next day. I immediately called the hotel the same day. After check-out I noticed an additional charge of $110 pending. We prepaid the room for 2 nights through Priceline, and had a card on file for incidentals so they charged $40 for the 2 nights. We stayed on the 3rd floor of this hotel, and there were several power outages while we were in the room. The stay at this hotel was just ok and we have stayed at dozens of hotels over the years.
